Member for Pittwater Rob Stokes is encouraging all local sporting and community groups to apply for funds under this year’s Community Building Partnership Program.
The popular NSW Government initiative allocates $300,000 per electorate for eligible infrastructure projects that will promote local participation and deliver social, cultural, environmental and recreational outcomes.
Applications are open until Friday 12 June.
“This initiative has seen the delivery of many incredible projects in our community,” Rob Stokes said.
“There are dozens of examples where a small financial boost has been needed to get a project off the ground and delivered.
“Our local sporting and community groups do a great job at fundraising – but extra help is often necessary.
“Eligible projects must enhance local facilities, meet community needs, increase participation, and be achievable by the group that’s applying.
“Further details and information on applying is available by visiting www.nsw.gov.au/projects/community-building-partnership
“I encourage all local groups that haven’t already done so to submit an application”, Rob Stokes said.
